Manj Bath is the Clinical Director of MindRight Counselling & Consulting and is a clinical provider in Richmond, BC for the Responsible and Problem Gambling Program. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia (UBC) and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). In addition, he’s a Certified EMDR Therapist and Approved EMDRIA Consultant from EMDRIA and a member of EMDR Canada.
Manj has worked with Vancouver Coastal Health, Government of BC, Government of Alberta, and various not-for-profit agencies in facilitating group counselling and individual therapy to children, youth, individuals, and families. Also, he’s experienced in conducting risk/suicide assessments. He uses a bio-psycho-social model in understanding his client’s issues at hand and developing treatment plans that help them meet their goals for therapy. He uses Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and EMDR to help his clients with their progress. He helps clients dealing with their gambling addiction using compassion and understanding. He helps people understand what drives their addiction and work on interventions to address their problem behaviors.
