Responsible Gambling Program

The Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch is responsible for the Responsible Gambling Program and the management and delivery of the Province's problem gambling services. Services include public awareness and prevention activities, treatment and counselling services, the provincial toll-free telephone Help Line, and problem gambling research.

Counselling and prevention services are delivered around the province free of charge by contracted professionals. The Responsible Gambling Program provides training in issues specific to problem gambling to addiction counsellors and allied professionals across British Columbia.
